Cassie Tam

Clinic Director & Speech-Language Pathologist

Cassie received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Alberta. She is registered with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia and certified with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada. 

Cassie has experience working with children 0-18 in a variety of settings including public health units, child development center, schools, and private practice.  Cassie believes in family-centered practice and therapy that is fun, interactive, and meaningful to the child and the family.  Her main interests include autism spectrum disorder, language and speech disorders, childhood apraxia of speech and stuttering. Cassie is also a Clinical Instructor at UBC School of Audiology and Speech Sciences.

Cassie also believes in lifelong learning and has received additional training in different specialty areas including:

  • Hanen - It Takes Two to Talk

  • Hanen - More than Words

  • Hanen - TalkAbility

  • PROMPT trained

  • Lidcombe Stuttering Program

  • The Play Project

  • Gestalt Language Processing


Cassie provide services in English and Cantonese. She is also a member of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professions of British Columbia and Registry of Autism Service Providers (RASP). 

In her spare time, Cassie spends time with her two dogs, plays volleyball and eats her way through new restaurants in Vancouver. You can also spot Cassie café hopping for the best coffee in town!
